About the Event:

The NMC is partnering with Chelsea Groton Bank to co-host a networking event complete with an educational talk about how to ensure your company is resilient during these times of economic uncertainty. During this 2-hour event, you will learn how to position your balance sheet, your operations, and your workforce for the years ahead, have some finger foods with folks from the NMC community, and learn more about Chelsea Groton Banks' opportunities to serve your company. All WHILE being surrounded by some of New England's most beautiful marine life.

The event is being held at Mystic Aquarium's Milne Center. Thanks to Chelsea's Groton's generous sponsorship of the event, your registration and $5/$10 donation includes admission into the aquarium from 4:00 - 4:45 pm. Imagine leaving work so you arrive at the Milne Center by 4:00, and then taking a 45-minute walk around the grounds, calming your mind as you take in the Jelly Fish, Beluga Whales, Penguins, and more. Talk about being prepared for all the great learning and conversation you will be engaging in starting at 4:45 pm as you head back to the Milne Center to meet with the rest of the guests and grab your seat for the talk, which begins promptly at 5 pm.

We expect this event to fill up quickly, so reserve your spot today. All attendees will provide at least a $5 donation ($10 if you are not a member of the NMC) to the Mystic Aquarium, payable at the door. About Our Talk:

Reflecting back on the last few years, we have experienced many challenges, from supply chain disruption, inflation, workforce shortages, and wage pressure. While many of these challenges have begun to stabilize and businesses have adapted, there are many lessons that can be gleaned from our experience. With varying opinions about the current and future state of the economy, preparing for resiliency is prudent as the one constant that can be expected is change. We’ll discuss some things to consider as you position your balance sheet, your operations, and your workforce for the years ahead.

Rich is the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Chelsea Groton Bank.
