NMC Thames River Working Group Meeting LIVE 

Join us for our LIVE Thames River Working Group Meeting in New London, CT from 10:00 - 11:30 am. We meet at Fort Trumbull State Park and have plenty of parking!

In this meeting, which is open to the public this month, we will feature a guest speaker, open floor meeting, and networking time.

Our speaker this month is Karen Bellnier, Director of Digital Innovation at Mitchell College. 

Karen is excited to share Mitchell’s new initiative - the Mitchell Hub. The Hub is a center for online professional learning and upskilling for strengthening employers and employees. She will be sharing how the values of access, flexibility, and connectedness guide the Hub’s unique approach to supporting adult learners to succeed and employers to engage and retain employees.

The Hub offers 100% online courses leading to industry credentials in manufacturing, IT, cybersecurity, business, finance, and more. Additional courses in communication, management, leadership, and more build professional skills for one's career journey.

She is eager to engage with local businesses through various channels to align the Hub’s approach and offerings with the needs of the regional workforce. This includes talking with NMC members about becoming peer reviewers, mentors, and learners with the program.
