New Advancements in 3D Printing/Additive ManufacturingAdditive Manufacturing is rapidly maturing as a manufacturing tool, and the equipment and technology continues to evolve. In response, CCAT is in the process of expanding its additive equipment technology assets to include a large-scale robotic plastic (polymer) system, metal binder jetting printer and a flexible metal High Rate AM work cell. This workshop will cover an overview of the additive technologies available at CCAT with a special focus on the new equipment and how you can use the technology to benefit your business. We will also be discussing Connecticut State funding opportunities for qualified CT SMM’s. This seminar is intended for the technical management and business staff of any company. Money for Manufacturing is available for eligible CT manufacturers through the Additive Manufacturing Adoption Program (AMAP) directly supporting your adoption of additive technologies into your company. Applications for this selective, $100,000 matching grant will be accepted April 1, 2021 to May 31, 2021 and is funded by the CT Department of Economic and Community Development and administered by CCAT.
