New Advancements in 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing

Additive Manufacturing is rapidly maturing as a manufacturing tool, and the equipment and technology continues to evolve. In response, CCAT is in the process of expanding its additive equipment technology assets to include a large-scale robotic plastic (polymer) system, metal binder jetting printer and a flexible metal High Rate AM work cell. This workshop will cover an overview of the additive technologies available at CCAT with a special focus on the new equipment and how you can use the technology to benefit your business. We will also be discussing Connecticut State funding opportunities for qualified CT SMM’s.

This seminar is intended for the technical management and business staff of any company.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Overview of CCAT’s legacy technology and applications
  • Introduction of new equipment/technology – Large Scale Polymer, Binder Jetting, and HRAM Flex Cell
  • Applications for the new assets
  • Doing Business with CCAT’s ATC
  • Funding Opportunities

Money for Manufacturing is available for eligible CT manufacturers through the Additive Manufacturing Adoption Program (AMAP) directly supporting your adoption of additive technologies into your company.
