Congratulations to Element 119, Small Business Administration New England Region's 2023 Exporter of the Year

We'd like to send a HUGE congratulations to NMC Member Element 119 on their achievement of being recognized at the Small Business Administration's New England Region 2023 Exporter of the Year. Element 119 has been an active member with the NMC since last April. We've enjoyed getting to know them and learn more about what they are doing. 

Element 119 produces the industry-leading System X® line of ceramic-composite nano coatings, primarily for the automotive, aerospace, and marine markets. Thin, durable, and ultra-slick, our coatings offer outstanding protection against corrosion, erosion, UV rays, moisture, dirt, abrasion, and more. They bond on a molecular level with the paintwork of your vehicle. In addition to quality off-the-shelf products, Element 119 creates custom solutions for clients large and small, including Fortune 500 companies and the U.S. military. In fact, the company got its start in 2010 by solving a difficult problem for Sikorsky Aircraft.

Founder and head formulator Andrew Zeppa developed a groundbreaking coating that withstands temperatures to 1000ºF to prevent paint fouling around helicopter exhaust ports. Where competitors’ solutions melted off during the first flight, Zeppa’s coating exceeded expectations. It became the foundation of the System X line that is known and respected throughout the industry to this day.
