Hi,

Hope you’re all managing to stay warm on this chilly day. At CTNext, things are heating up (see what we did right there) as we prepare to launch our application period for companies to apply for mentors. Before we do that, we always scan the ecosystem to see if there are new (or existing) mentors who would like to join the program.

How do I know if I am eligible?

Criteria for acceptance are:

  • Startup experience: Founder, investor or leadership team member
  • Not your first rodeo: Prior mentoring experience
  • No hard sells: Not looking to sell services to startups
  • Time commitment: At least one hour per week for three to four months
  • The goods: Specific leadership, functional or industry expertise

How does it work?

If you are approved to become a mentor, you will participate in a mentor matching/company pitch event in March, and we will match you with a company or companies. You’ll then work with the leadership teams of those companies to help solve their specific business challenges, offer introductions to your network, and share advice on how to scale.

What’s expected of me?

You’ll be expected to meet with your company once a week (in person or virtually) at least once a week for a three- to four-month period. We will provide training and guidance on our structured program and our company tracking and scheduling platform so you’re well prepared.

How do I get started?

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, the next step is to fill out the application, which can be accessed here.

We’d love to add a few more mentors to our arsenal for this upcoming cohort. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Thanks in advance for your consideration, and stay warm!

Kind regards,

Rachel Ferreira
