Groton submarine museum reopens after 14-month COVID closure

U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney, a Democrat from Vernon, announced Tuesday that two popular shoreline attractions forced to close their doors during the pandemic would receive support for their reopenings from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The U.S. Submarine Force Library and Museum Association in Groton, a non-profit that supports the Navy-owned museum home to the USS Nautilus, received $137,247 under the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program, Courtney announced.
