A bit about CCAT:

CCAT is an applied technology development, demonstration and training center that innovates, validates, demonstrates, and assists with the adoption of leading-edge technologies into Connecticut and the nation’s advanced manufacturing supply chain, while providing vital workforce training and upskilling necessary for companies to fully-utilize the technology advancement.

They work with more than a dozen federal entities, nearly three dozen global industrial companies and thousands of supply chain manufacturers across the state and region. CCAT is administering 10 programs for the State of Connecticut alone focusing on the most important challenges confronting manufacturers in the areas of: Industry 4.0 technology awareness and adoption, incumbent worker training to upskill the workforce, and identifying talent in underserved communities to bridge the education and skills gap to ensure manufacturing career opportunities are available to everyone.
